Daphne's Designs

Most of what I do is off loom bead weaving with occasional wire work. Though I use several different stitches, peyote is my favorite. It allows the creation of many different forms and is very versatile.

I create pieces in two different ways. The first is representational. Something in my life strikes me and I try to reproduce the experience in a jewelry piece. The blue tang necklace is an example of this kind of work and is from my experiences snorkeling in the Caribbean. Further information can be obtained from the web site.
