We are basket weavers of all ages, from all walks of life, meeting on this common artistic ground. The purpose of this organization shall be to: Perpetuate the art of basketry; Educate members and promote interest in basketry; Emphasize the historic value and heritage of basketry; Promote excellence in basket materials and design. Basketry has always been part of Kentucky’s rich heritage. We hope you will find something here at Kentucky Basket Association to help you pursue that interest further, delve into it deeper, learn and grow with it.
